The F1 TV app offers broadcasts in six different languages. This platform broadcasts full HD quality, and you can choose between localized and expert commentary. It also gives F1 TV Pro, a premium subscription service that provides live coverage of every Formula One race.

Choose between two pricing tiers

The TV Pro subscription grants you access to every track session, onboard driver camera, and team radio during all Grands Prix, plus live broadcasts of F2, F3, W series, and Porsche Supercup races. Exclusive to this tier is a cool live-timing feature that lets you check out real-time telemetric data, such as the speed and location of each car and tire usage history during races.

The key difference between the two F1 TV packages is that the premium tier includes live coverage of races. In contrast, for significantly cheaper TV access, you must wait until a race has finished before viewing it and offer delayed replays and highlights instead of live coverage. The Pro tier allows you to stream live in six languages, reaching over 80 countries.

However, exclusive TV rights deals in some countries make the premium tier unavailable everywhere. This app is free-to-download, but you’ll need to pay for the subscription to proceed and enjoy its features. One of the drawbacks of this tool is that it only works well on the fastest processors and most advanced mobile devices. Otherwise, your video won't play smoothly.  Moreover, the app often freezes and crashes randomly.

Needs improvement for a better experience

Overall, F1 TV is a good app. It is quite exciting to use and gives you exclusive access to your favorite sport, which is excellent if you are an avid F1 fan. You can watch every race live wherever you might be or stream replays of previous races. Further, this app definitely has potential if its developers make some improvements to it.
